The paddock in Lucas Oil Pro Motocross is a transient place. Riders, mechanics, teams, and sponsors come and go, as do photographers, officials, and even racetracks. It is referred to as “the cycle” within the sport, and the wheels never stop turning. There are some exceptions to this: guys like Roger De Coster and Bevo Forti have made a lifetime of their careers in the sport, and they’re still at the races even now. But they are outliers. The travel is a grind, as budgets and a competitive environment can be funny things.
