On the eve of the opening round of the 1997 AMA Supercross Championship at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the new Pit Pro Suzuki team got together underneath the Peristyle for a photo with Joe Bonnello. The team was organized by retired pro Russ Wageman and consisted of four fast California prospects: Chris Wheeler (586), Pat Foster (391), David Evilizer (702), and Tyler Evans (417).
