THE ULTIMATE BENCH RACE
Oh, to have been a fly on the wall (or on the door of one of the rigs, anyway) when James Stewart showed up at the Tampa Supercross and ended up having a one-on-one reunion with his most bitter rival, Chad Reed. The two-time AMA Supercross Champion from Kurri Kurri, Australia, and the two-time AMA Supercross Champion from Haines City, Florida, haven’t been seen anywhere near one another in quite some time, though they will probably forever loom large in one another’s memory. They were both remarkably fast, fiercely competitive, and, thankfully for us fans, at the peaks of their careers for many years together. No one but those two were close enough to hear what exactly they talked about, but it doesn’t matter—we’re just glad they finally got together again so we could thank them both here for so many unforgettable moments.
