As bad luck and magazine deadlines would have it, I’m writing this on the eve of the 2025 Anaheim Supercross opener, which will begin the 51st season of Monster Energy AMA Supercross. The series has been visiting Angel Stadium for a very long time.
The one-off 1975 “American Motocross Finals” were the first visit to the Big A, and there have been 82 races since then. But this one feels different than all of those other ones.
Betting has been in our sport ever since they posted the odds for the old U.S. Open of Supercross in the sportsbook at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
