It's electric
The motocross world was caught by surprise on a Tuesday morning in December when the press release dropped announcing the Varg, a state-of- the-art electric motorcycle that was on no one’s radar. Made by Stark Future, a Barcelona-based company with Swedish roots, the Varg (Swedish for wolf) tips the scales at 242 pounds, has a full-throttle life of nearly an hour, and boasts an eye-popping 80 horsepower. With the help of test riders Sebastien Tortelli and Josh Hill (pictured here), the bike is expected to be ready for release this fall. Where exactly it will line up in professional racing remains to be determined.
