I don’t think I have ever seen such  allegiance to any rider like I’ve seen with Eli Tomac in the 53 years I have been following this sport. I agree that he is unbelievable on a dirt bike, but this sport was created to be an “outside” race series worldwide, with SX/stadiums helping later on to build both fans and sponsorships. If anyone feels like me, the true test of endurance is the long motos that take place on Mother Earth’s courses, and there still is no one who comes close to the GOAT. Two undefeated outdoor titles, 2002 and 2004, and lapping the entire Spring Creek 2006 field says all there is about the true beast, and I’m sticking to it!
