Reason For Being

Forty-two years is a very long time to wait for anything. But if you were one of the 30,000 or so people who attended the 1983 Pittsburgh Supercross, held on a warm July night, that’s how long you had to wait for supercross to come back to the Steel City. Finally, on April 26, 2025, the starting gate dropped on another Pittsburgh Supercross, and a massive crowd of 58,236 fans—the biggest turnout of this year’s 17 rounds of Monster Energy Supercross—welcomed it back with open arms.
