Imagine you’re riding an adventure motorcycle in some remote Southwest desert with a group of friends, some old and some new. It’s the end of a long day on the motorcycle. You’ve been following the same rider most of the day, his near-perfect style on the bike vaguely familiar. As beautiful as your surroundings have been, and despite the fun you’re having, it’s time to call it a day. The sun is setting behind the mountains to the west. Just ahead, you spot a small, futuristic-looking oasis that consists of shiny silver tents and colorful hammocks, a couple of sleek new sprinter vans, a handful of side-by-sides, and—strangest of all—a long banquet table atop a sand dune, covered in black cloth and lined with chairs, with a dozen place settings, just sitting there in the sand. You’re hungry and thirsty after all that riding, so you’re definitely in the right place, despite being out in the middle of nowhere. Your guide stops ahead of you, steps off his motorcycle, and holds his arms out wide in a welcome gesture. He then takes off his helmet, smiles wide, and you realize you’ve been following Jeff “Fro” Emig all day. Now, finally, it’s Miller Time.
