Iwas interviewing David Vuillemin about Marvin Musquin’s St. Louis Supercross win when I got a tap on the shoulder. It was Forrest Butler. I expected Forrest to be a ghost all weekend, as his team was embroiled in controversy, and that usually means you don’t want the media around. Butler’s Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM-WPS team did not race in St. Louis. The team truck, riders, and mechanics were there, but it all fell apart. The truck didn’t show up to the next race in Atlanta, either. What happened? Well, that’s a long and complicated story, but that’s exactly where Forrest was willing to go.
