Reason For Being
As you’ve probably heard by now, we’ve got some fast company coming from abroad to visit us this summer in Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, though it’s not the company we were expecting. After a couple months of speculation that reigning FIM World Champion Jeffrey “The Bullet” Herlings might be coming to the U.S., since his foot injury from this past winter did not heal properly before MXGP started, it turns out that the Dutchman’s fractured heel was more complicated than they originally thought. Instead of racing here, Jeffrey will stay on the mend at home.
The simple fact that he would commit to coming here to race—when he has literally nothing left to prove as a racer—makes his presence even more appreciated.
