What a great event the recent 2025 Motocross of Nations was, held in Crawfordsville, Indiana! I submitted a letter back in 2022 after attending the MXoN at RedBud, where I met a group of American fans I hadn’t known before. Despite being strangers, we instantly connected at a time when the world felt divided. Fast forward to the 2025 MXoN, where I met the same group again, and it truly felt like a homecoming. We recognized each other right away (even though I was wearing full samurai armor) and celebrated another incredible event together.
That’s when I noticed something I hadn’t really thought about before. Unlike many sporting events where you often hear fans “booing” opposing teams, I hardly heard any of that here. It was a special experience watching these amazing athletes compete and sharing it all with such great fans!
