jett The younger of the Lawrence brothers seems to be getting faster and faster. He ended his first Lucas Oil Pro Motocross tour ranked sixth in the 250 Class and earned the Marty Smith Rookie of the Year Award for his efforts. At 17 years, 2 months, 5 days old, Jett is the youngest AMA Pro Motocross overall winner since Mike Alessi won the 2005 High Point National at age 17 years, 12 days.
france In a year when a Frenchman—Dylan Ferrandis—finally won an AMA Pro Motocross Championship for the first time since Jean-Michel Bayle in 1991 (and the first time ever in the 125/250 class), another fast young Frenchman, second-gen Grand Prix contender Tom Vialle, is closing in on the 2020 MX2 FIM World Championship. If Vialle holds on, this will mark the first time any country except the U.S. has won FIM and AMA Pro Motocross titles in the same year.
