Two world championships in just four years of Grand Prix racing makes Red Bull KTM’s latest French import to America, Tom Vialle, a serious prospect

When the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross season begins, U.S. fans will get their first glimpse of Tom Vialle, the two-time MX2 World Champion from France who asked to transfer from KTM Europe to KTM North America. Vialle is a second-generation racer whose father, Frederic, was also quite fast on a motorcycle—though not nearly as accomplished as his boy has already become. Now KTM is counting on him to help get their American 250 program back on the right track, as they haven’t won an AMA title since 2015. And while Vialle is new to the American way of racing, he’s apparently a very quick learner.
