In the end, there were four men at the high-rollers’ table on the outskirts of Las Vegas. It was the last hand of the tournament, the one with the biggest pot of all. A million-dollar bonus was in the cards for one of these sharks, and Hunter Lawrence and Chase Sexton were holding virtually the same hand, as was Hunter’s little brother Jett, albeit each with a different suit—Hunter with the red plates, Chase white, Jett some funky purple. The most seasoned player of all, Eli Tomac, was also at the table, but he was basically just a wild card. He needed all three of his opponents to fold badly, but hey, at least he had the ante to be in this battle royale until the very end.
