One of the biggest surprises of the 2022 season happened after the final round of AMA Pro Motocross at Fox Raceway: Team Honda’s Ken Roczen announced on James Stewart’s Bubba’s World podcast that he was a free agent. This after six up and down years together that saw Roczen battle back twice from terrible injuries, as well as a mysterious illness that often sapped him of strength and endurance. Honda stood by him throughout, and together they won a bunch of races—but, alas, no championships
All things end badly, right? In SX/MX, that’s often the case.
