With multi-time 250 SMX Champion Haiden Deegan moving up to the 450 Class this summer in Pro Motocross and defending champion Jett Lawrence returning to form, many are expecting theirs to be the next great rivalry in motorcycle racing. Ironically, it would be between two riders who have never actually competed against one another until this summer. Their looming battles could be the latest in the long line of rivalries that have defined the sport over the last 50-plus years.
