A new era of the 250 Class in AMA Pro Motocross is taking off, and it’s wide open. With multi-time champion Haiden Deegan having moved up to the premier class, there’s a vacancy at the top of the 250 ranks, and the rush to fill the position began at Fox Raceway, the opening outdoor round of 2026. The first candidate to step up was Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Seth Hammaker (10), who not only won the first moto of his career, but also his first outdoor national overall.
