It’s kind of unbelievable, really. There I stood on the starting line of Round 16 of Monster Energy Supercross on a Friday afternoon, with my choice of anthem (Creed’s “My Sacrifice,” of course) blasting over the speakers and a PulpMX logo on the LED screen going around and around in Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. In front of me were 22 supercross racers ready to blast off, all in the name of PulpMX. From DC’s words—“internet rabble-rouser”—to having a race alongside a real supercross? How in the hell did this happen?
