Consistency usually beats chaos. But what happens when nobody avoids trouble? The 2025 Monster Energy AMA 250SX East division was a crucible of pure chaos, with seven different winners and the red plate passed around like a hot potato. For three riders—Red Bull KTM’s Tom Vialle, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Seth Hammaker, and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s RJ Hampshire—it all came down to the final moments in Salt Lake City, where two of the three remaining title contenders collided, effectively handing the hot potato to the last man standing: defending champion Tom Vialle.
