THE AFTER-PARTY
As the opening round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross at Fox Raceway came to its conclusion, practically everyone involved with Team Honda found themselves on the podium celebrating a remarkable day. After teammates Jett Lawrence (1) and his brother Hunter (96) went 1-1 and 2-2 in the 250 Class, Chase Sexton (23) and Ken Roczen (94) did the exact same thing in the 450 Class. It was the perfect way for American Honda to cap its 50-year celebration of the introduction of their game-changing Honda CR250M Elsinore. The festivities included a reception for many of Honda’s past champions and the release of the 2023 lineup, which includes a 50th Anniversary Edition Honda CRF450R that pays homage to the company’s motocross racing heritage, which dates back to 1973.
