Reason For Being
There’s something about the Anaheim Supercross that’s hard to explain to those who’ve never been there. Sure, it’s a place synonymous with supercross itself. It goes back to 1975 on the calendar and has hosted more races than any other building in the country—87 and counting. (The math doesn’t math until you consider all of the years that it’s held two or even three rounds.) Each race held there makes Angel Stadium the epicenter of the SMX world, as it is very convenient for an inordinate amount of industry people to gather beneath the Big A. Many past racers also live in Southern California, so they come out in droves, too.
