When Jett Lawrence won the first 450SX he ever entered—the Anaheim ’24 opener—lots of PR went out about him being the first rider ever to win his first premier-class SX. Technically-speaking, that was true. Lawrence had never lined up in Monster Energy Supercross in the 450SX class before January 6, 2024, despite already being the AMA 450 Pro Motocross Champion as well as the 450 SuperMotocross World Champion (he switched from 250 to 450 last summer).
