Julz and I are cleaning out her parents’ house and found this October ’05 issue of Racer X in a stack of magazines in the living room. The pages were yellowed with nicotine and each page that had one of my photos was earmarked with a post-it note. Brought a smile to my face. I can still remember Julz calling me while I was on the road to Millville. You had FedExed me a copy of the magazine and she went through page by page looking at each photo credit. “Oh! Here’s another one!” I’m not sure who was more excited, her or me! That was a very exciting time of my life when I shot the nationals for those two years. I saved all the emails from you and [No Fear’s] Jeff Surwall. Very fond memories, indeed. Thanks for that opportunity.

Thanks again for helping us out back in the day, Trevor, and I still remember when we picked that David Vuillemin shot in the retro kit at Unadilla for the cover—I had no idea you’d shot it until after we chose it, and I was probably as happy for you as Julz was! Hope all is well in Ohio, and thanks for checking in. DC
