Monroe, WA - BPRMX/Home Depot Yamaha is excited to officially announce its 2016 lineup. As the team moves into year two with factory support, we are pumped with the partnerships and sponsors that are working so hard for the 2016 season.
We are excited to introduce Cole Martinez #68, who finished 14th overall and a career high eighth overall at the final in Las Vegas in 2015.
“Cole’s work ethic has been on par with the top factory riders and champions in the industry," said Scot Steffy, team manager.
Along with Cole we are proud to introduce Austin Politelli #87. "Austin is having a great off-season and is looking better then he has in the last few year coming into the season," said Steve Oslund, team owner.
Last year Austin finished 21st overall in the series but had a heat race win and his results were not where he should of been. With the two strong riders Cole and Austin we needed a solid rider to round out our team and we are proud to introduce Scott Champion #76. Scott finished the season last year in 16th overall with a season high finish of tenth place.
“I have watched Scott throughout the years and have seen his hard work and dedication to the sport, as we have watched him this off-season we feel he is in the best shape and ready to make 2016 his best season ever," said Steffy.
BPRMX is excited to introduce our riders but also our great sponsors that make this happen. It is more then just asking for money or product, it is about finding team members that all want to work towards a championship goal. This year with Yamaha, Dasa Racing, Bills Pipes, Enzo Suspension we have built a bike that capable of winning championships on. But it takes more then just the ride, from AXO to Bell helmets to our new goggle sponsor Viral it takes all of our team members and all of their support to bring this racing effort to each round of the Monster Energy Supercross schedule.
