CENTREVILLE, Miss. – DIRT WURX USA operator Bobby Childers has been down at Kevin Windham’s compound the past couple weeks, getting Windham’s MX and SX tracks ready for this weekend’s Party in the Pasture, which this year benefits fallen DIRT WURX USA employee Chris Blankenship.
The event, scheduled for November 7-8, features entertainment from Windham’s country and western recording star buddy, Craig Morgan, along with a host of pro MX/SX and FMX athletes, including: Wil Hahn, Davi Millsaps, Brett Cue, Josh Grant, Broc Tickle, Matt Lemoine, Johnny Moore, Mike Mason, Adam Jones, and Kenny Bartram.
“K-Dub’s been a friend of the DIRT WURX USA team for years, was an excellent friend of Chris’ and wanted to do something for Chris’ wife, Crystal, and his children,” said Rich Winkler of DIRT WURX USA. “So not only were we on board when Kevin made the call, but we’ve had Bobby Childers down there for several weeks now getting everything in order for the big event this weekend.”
Along with dirt bike riding and FMX shows, attendees to this weekend’s Party in the Pasture will also enjoy all kinds of live music, a massive BBQ, helicopter rides, bonfires, karaoke, a raffle and live auction – the proceeds going to benefit Chris Blankenship’s family.
Tickets are available at the gate ($40), kids 6 and under are admitted free and music begins at 5 p.m. For more information check out K-Dub’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/163190280378553/
