The rumors have been out there for a while and they appear to be true. Jeff Ward Racing, formally the L&M team, has let its newest signee Dean Wilson go and the status of the entire team is up in the air. The early rumors are that Wilson is looking to go back to Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki or perhaps Red Bull KTM as a 250SX/450MX rider but for now it’s just speculation. No matter what, someone as good as Wilson won’t stay on the market for long.
Wilson and the team’s rider from last year, Kyle Chisholm, are out today at the track with manager Paul Delaurier but everyone there is waiting to find out more about the teams status.
No matter what happens, it’s a blow to the team’s plans for 2013 and we’re still working on trying to find out more on this situation as it develops. We’ll have more on this later today in Racerhead.
