On The Box, LLC Names Co-Founder & Former SX Champion President

Ronnie Tichenor competed in the AMA SX and MX from 1986 until 1992. Racing primarily for factory Suzuki, Ronnie claimed his first title in the 1987 East SX championship advancing to the Premiere Class in 1988.
While competing in the Premier Class Ronnie compiled numerous individual podium finishes. Of these Ronnie’s highlights include a fifth place overall in the 250 SX series season points as well as third overall in the 1990 250 MX series. In his final MX season before choosing to compete in Japan Ronnie posted an amazing third overall in the 1992 125 MX as a privateer. While competing in Japan, Ronnie won two All Japan Championships in the premier class before retiring.

Since retiring, Ronnie has opened a successful surf shop with his wife Brandi in 1996 that is an industry leader in the Tampa area. As a true entrepreneur Ronnie has focused his efforts on real estate and mortgage brokering as well as many other investments.

Upon Retiring from competing in Japan, Ronnie began teaching young Suzuki Factory riders in the USA. After realizing his skills and ability for coaching he began instructing top amateurs from across the country. His past students include the following professional riders. Timmy Ferry, Davi Millsaps, Nico Izzi, Matt Boni, and Ashley Fiolek. A short list of Ronnie's top amateur prospects include Ian Trettle, Zac Freeburg, Adam Cianciarulo, Jarek Balcovic, Alexander Frye, Tristan Charboneau and Jordan Bailey to name a few. Over the years, the list of amateur championships have piled up with these champions bring Ronnie the distinction of being recognized as the top SX and MX instructor in the USA.

Ronnie’s primary duties as President of On The Box, LLC will include working with the top athletes currently signed to the company and the development of all future athletes as well as the coordination of the graphic design for casual apparel and creative artwork by managing the companies network of designers. He is also responsible for the clearance of all associated sponsor’s for the authentic presentation of all of On The Box, LLC selected athletes.
When asked for comment on his role with On The Box, LLC Ronnie had this to say. “I look forward to assuming my duties as President of On The Box, LLC and to the challenge of developing this new endeavor with my partner Chris Carnicella whose business accomplishments speak for themselves. Together we will strive to bring a uniform sense of managing licensed athletes and programs, raising the awareness of this sport and providing these athletes tremendous opportunity for transcending the sport itself as well as providing our clients with additional income outside the industry.”
