Eric Saunders Press Release

The TSRMX Team and Eric Saunders headed to Hangtime MX Park in Akron, IN for the first of the 2009 Loretta Lynn Qualifiers. 

Fond du Lac, WI, April 14, 2009:  The 2009 season us under way and Eric Saunders is looking to build on his success from the 2008 season.  This year he will compete in 5 different classes: 250 B Stock, 450 B Stock, 250 B Modified, 450 B Modified and the 4 Stroke class.

Eric started his weekend with a few rounds of practice on Friday evening to get a feel for the new track setup.  Feeling confident after practice, Saunders is ready take to the track for some exciting competition.

Competing in both the 250 B and 450 B Stock Classes on Saturday, Eric showed he was up for the challenge finishing with a first place in each class.

After a hard crash in practice on Sunday morning, Eric is still determined to build on Saturdays’ success.  Competing in 3 classes for the day, he posted and 11th in the 250 B Mod, 1st in the 450 B Mod and a 2nd in the 4 Stroke class.

Overall, a very exciting and successful weekend of racing!  Saunders posted 4 top 2 finishes in 5 classes.  It appears as though Eric is well on his way to building on and exceeding the results from last year.
