TUF Powersports’ Hamblin posts 7th overall at High Point
Sean Hamblin powered his TUF Powersports’ YZ450F to 6-9 moto finishes at High Point Raceway this weekend for 7th overall, moving him into 10th in the 2008 Toyota Motocross Championship Presented by FMF.
“Both motos were steady and uneventful. In the first I worked my way through the field and once into 6th the rest of the pack had pulled away. The second was steady all the way through,” said Hamblin.
The privateer gated well in both times out and quickly moved up a couple of places on the rain-soaked Mt. Morris circuit. After moving into 6th in the first moto, Hamblin put in consistent laps for his best finish of the season so far. In the second moto, Hamblin started off just outside the top ten, but was able to sneak into 9th by the end.
When asked about the upcoming break Sean said, “I’m going to take a few days to relax and rest, and then do a little fine tuning on the bike. We’ve been working very hard and looking forward to some extra time.”
Hamblin is also sponsored by Active8, Stellar MX, Pro Circuit, Pirelli, One Industries, Monster, Thor, SPY, Crown MGT., TwinAir, and J. Law.
