Road 2 Recovery Implements Insurance Policy
The Road 2 Recovery is happy to announce the implementation of an insurance policy for all licensed AMA Supercross and Motocross riders beginning with the 2008 Supercross season. Riders who are catastrophically injured and who have experienced a career ending injury are eligible for payment.
We have seen all too often the devastation that a catastrophic injury can cause, and we know the cost for a rider to purchase this type of insurance policy is sometimes out of reach. That is why the Directors of the Road 2 Recovery decided to pull together and make this happen by setting up a special endowment with proceeds from annual fundraisers along with the kind donations of many companies within our industry.
In order for the endowment to grow and increase the rider payout each year, we are also implementing a membership card for 2008. We are asking everyone to become a Road 2 Recovery Member at a yearly cost of $35 for riders and $25 for everyone else. Although we hope no one ever needs this policy we want to make sure it’s there for those that do.
Some of the membership benefits include $5 off tickets to all 2008 SX events (up to 4 tickets per event), Free 2008 SX Pit Pass (1 per card holder per event), Decal Works Gift Card, 20% Discount at the Road 2 Recovery On-Line Store, and a Road 2 Recovery Decal & Wristband.

The Road 2 Recovery Foundation, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to helping AMA licensed supercross/motocross members with financial assistance if they sustain career-ending injuries as well as providing motivational, emotional and spiritual support to these individuals and their families.
