  • BooKoo Arenacross To Be Seen On National Television

Santa Ana, CA – November 9, 2005 – Advanstar – a leading provider of print, event and online media for the powersports, off-road and automotive aftermarket industries – today announced that the 12-round K&N Filters presents BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series Powered by Toyota will air on the Outdoor Channel for the 2005-2006 season.

Get ready for the best arenacross action on television when BooKoo Arenacross debuts on the Outdoor Channel December 31, 2005. The first one-hour show will open with torrid action from the series opener at Ft. Worth where Josh Woods, Tiger Lacey and Shane Bess rode to a three-way tie, and future episodes will feature week-by-week drama of the points chase where top riders like Josh Demuth and Brad Ripple clash for their share of $3.5 million cash in purse, contingency and series points funds. Tune in on Saturday evenings at 5:00pm (EST), or catch the rebroadcast the following Friday morning. Each show will highlight play-by-play race action, rider interviews and special interest stories on what it takes to compete at this level.

“Teaming up with the Outdoor Channel further emphasizes our plan to reinvent arenacross,” said Mike Kidd, Director of Race Operations. “Fans across the country can now experience the intense, round-by-round BooKoo Arenacross action, and our riders and sponsors will receive national coverage in the process.“

The Bookoo Arenacross Series will join an impressive line-up of Outdoor Channel programming including the World of Outlaws Racing Series, Championship Bull Riding, ASA Speed Truck Challenge, ATV Television, and Superlift’s Off-Road Adventures.

The K&N Filters Bookoo Arenacross Championship Series kicked off November 4-6, 2005 in Ft. Worth – the Championship Round wraps up in Tulsa, February 10-12, 2006. BooKoo Arenacross promises to deliver bigger air...better tracks…more speed…. For more information please go to www.racearenacross.com (1-817-595-5844).
