Good to have the champ back. The number one plate is the best thing in the sport. Puts a massive target on his back, but leaves no doubt in everyone's mind WHO they should be gunning for. Im a speedy reedy fan, but the best race of the season last year was the race Reed broke his knee. The two fastest guys were going for it and leaving everyone else faaaaaaar behind. Thats what we need more of. The only thing I dont like about this sport, is precisely that...that when it is at its most intense....someone seems to get hurt. Why o why cant they keep it at that level for the entire season? It would make viewing sooooo cool. Kind of like Atlanta '11 season.

People used to have much better corner speed back in the two stroke days, dam four strokes making people lazy. He looks good though.
Love watching RV ride. Looks good, and I would expect him to pick up right where he left off: winning.

You have to admit watching a professional 'racer' on a closed course looked a lot more impressive than a "professional 'rider' on a closed course" from yesterday.

People didn't used to have better corner speed. The 2 stroke 250's were a lot slower than the current 450s so they pinned em through the corners and it looked like they were going faster......The style changed but not the speed. I can gaurantee you they are going faster than they ever have on these sx tracks on those 450's. Corners jumps whoops everywhere

RV is such a beast! Looks like he's been working on his scrubbing, some good ones in the youtube RV return clips too.
Looks a little shy dropping that left leg into the turn to me.. only natural though, takes time to get over the ACL mentally. A 95% RV1 is still 10% better than the field. MEC sweep.
Some scrubs and whips? RV's style looks like it may have gotten a little make over. Never thought I'd say this but, his absence may have helped me become a fan. Still pulling for a few W's and good rides from Stew though!

Uh-oh. Looks like the knee recovery wasn't a big deal, and the other 450 riders might have a problem. So much for the theory that RV will be rusty, coming off the couch.
I don't think you can look more dialed or at home on a bike...
@bill c - Like Stewart knew what he was doing testing for A1 this year? (I guess that's not a fair comparison, though...no one ever said Stewart knows what he's doing (besides getting on the Suz))

Not hating but I think Stewart looked better in the other Video. Also though RV looked like shit in the whoops. You never know where RV is going to be come race time. I think Dungey will be compareable and I'm not a Dungey fan.

Although I didn't mind the music on this particular one as much as usual, I would still rather hear the bike. Save the music for just the opening titles and closing credits.
I hope RV has more competition this year at MEC than he did last year.

Why do so many of you judge the condition, or level a rider is at based on these hollywood riding videos?? RV is great, he has been great, he will probably still be grrrrr.......good, but to say everyone is in trouble based on a few clips of him riding solo on his practice track is just silly!! Same goes for everybody....Let's see what happens with a full gate tomorrow night!!
