I know Barcia and Dungey are on 450's, but what about Baggett?

God those KTMs are ugly. Diarrhea orange just doesn't fit on a dirt bike. Why can't an MX manufacturer pick another normal color, like black. Neon yellow, green and orange are the dumbest effing colors. Only Hondas and Yamahas are decent looking. Our industry has no sense of style, just take a look at the gear that's offered these days...
Wonder if Barcia spending time on a 450 has messed with his championship chase. He hasn't looked that good since he has been named to the team. Wonder if he has been splitting time on the fo fiddeee....?
Given Hell Boys !!!!
Givem Hell Boys !!
just want to touch on a couple of things.....
Our industry sets the standard for style. We have some incredible artists involved in our industry that inspire art for many other industries out there.
It really is odd to see somebody else on a #2 Kawasaki. I had somebody tell me that Baggett is reminicent of an old RV, I'm still not sold on that. They look much different.
That video was very confidence inspiring and I cannot wait to watch that race live at 2 or 3 am pacific. Usually its time to shut her down and quit drinking at that time of the morning, but not on this day!!! It will be cold PBR and red white and blue roost for breakfast!
Sure thing McMuffin, the mx industry sets the standard for style, right up there with Neckcar. The gear and bikes these days look like they are covered in corporate diarrhea, and you are a tool for paying ridiculous prices for this shiz which is branded with their colors and names and liking it. You ride a Honda with Geico plastered on the side? How about that hideous Alias gear? Got a set of that crap too? Or how about the JT ad that is on the rh side of this article, that crap could be mistaken for an Iron Man Halloween costume and nobody would know the difference. Ahhh, I miss the days of Moto XXX and their subtle gold flake plastics stickin it to the man er uhh I mean manufacturers and their 10 thousand dollar dirt bikes.
De coster managing Team USA defeats the purpose of each team representing their own country as a whole. I think the teams should all be with their own nation. I know not everyone can represent that (mechanics, trainers etc) but a the manager spot should belong to an American. Not trying to be patriotic or anything like that but there's plenty of US born legends/managers in this industry that can still do a great job.
If Roger retires next year when his contract is liked he planned, they should get RC to Head the Des Nation team in the future.
Had the luxury to be at this shoot when doing it these guys are rockin in the USA for sure.........They wil smoke the Euro's but if it is a mudder maybe a little closer than one would care to se......................GOOD LUCK SEE you tommorrow at the race ............
I agree with KTM MIKE Put RC in as manager ...........
Good luck guys!
hey motokris i suppose yr one of those over the boot pant wearing goon! you wouldn't know style if it kicked you in a**! d-bag
KTMike: I love me some RC but I think Mitch Payton would be the best choice.
Im calling it right now JEFFERY HERLINGS is gonna win every race he enters. He put on a riding clinic and is the best sand racer in the world on a 250. No matter who shows up.
BUT, Herlings will be on a 3 FITTY
Dear Shizlick79, you have never seen me ride nor have you seen the gear I wear, how can you comment on such a topic? No sir, I am not a purple cow print LBZ wearing dune goon as you yourself may very well be, but I did comment on the state of the sport and the current "style" ( I use the word loosely here) trends which have overtaken our sport. If you think the majority of today's or even previous decades of motocross gear looks good you are probably the typical GED deprived burger flipping tool who trolls the internet during your lunch break from your peon servitude at Mickey Dees. Go buy some purple Volcom/Thor/Monster/Kawasaki bikini briefs at retail and shut the hell up. P.S. the fries are burning, put down the I-phone mommy bought you for Christmas and get back to work.
MotoKris, you are so ridiculous. Do you even like this sport? Why are you here? I'm guessing your just here because you have nothing else better to do. Yes there is some stuff out there that isn't quite as cool as the next but, thats what style is all about. Its different from one brand to the next. Why are you so negative about everything? Did somebody not love you like they should have when you were younger? Oh, and the Dune Goons you speak of? Have you ever been to the dunes? There is some nasty big sand leaps to be had there buddy, you should give it a try. Oh wait, your XR200 don't go so well in the sand? Oops. Or maybe your all leather Hallman pants are too hot for the dunes? Not that they don't look cool, they just aren't practical anymore. By the way, without that corporate diahpoopoo our sport wouldn't be where it is today. Who do you think pays our talent? Whats wrong with the corporations anyway? They pay their taxes and make great scooters. Go whine about how awful your perspective is on our sport somewhere else.
Lets go USA!!! yeah roger shouldnt be team manager... pffffff FTW, best man for the job right there.
I will hear a lot of shit for this but RD is best choice Bagget ok but I think 800 should have gotten Barcias ride,im not an Alessi fan by no means but his results this season i think earned him that.and Barcia has been on 250 all year come on roger
Go USA and lead the way RD
I hace never been an Alessi fan. There were times I honestly despised his attitude and personality. I cant say that I hated him cause I dont know him personally. After his performance this season, I believe he deserved to be on this years team. Im confident that Bagget and Barcia will do awesome. USA will have no problems handling the others this year. Im sure lots of others will think im crazy for thinking this but its my opinion. Mike has earned my respect as a professional. He deserved the ride.
It will be interesting to watch KTM USA compete against KTM EURO. The EURO's will have an advantage in bike set-up because of track time for sure...wonder if they will share with Roger?
@WLDWEST110:
I agree with your Alessi statement, unfortunately MotoConcepts most likely wouldn't be able to cover the cost to support him.
