Eli sure looking strong in that first moto, he is probablly asking Justin "Who's your daddy now"?
hey good ride 2nd moto by illinois joey dazell
Blake Baggett needs to do better than 4-4 if he wants to win this championship.Eli Tomac is closing the gap in points very quickly.
Eli made up some huge points today, but I am sure if the clock has run out on him. But strange things have happened in the last moto of the series. Also I believe this will be Blakes "hometown race", so hopefully he is not jinxed by it.
Tomac crushes indoors and ought 2013
Osborne top 4
Tomac....whoa. Not PLAYIN. nice rides....I was a watchin him ride and then they showed pictures of RJ during 4fitys and I knew who he reminded me of......
I wonder if something is wrong with Baggett. These last 2 races are not on par. I would guess that more has changed than "The other guys got faster"
Nothin' wrong with Baggett! He's takin' advice from a team manager that knows something about winning championships. Next week everyone will be in SoCal at a track that no one has ever ridden ( even redone since Lake Elsinore opened )...so look for Blake to roost on his home turf when everything else is equal.
Baggett is playing it cool and going back home to wrap it up unless something weird happens. We will see how fast those boys are in Ca.
Anyone see the passes Mookie was making in the first moto? insane! the dude was on fire. I was very impressed.
I agree with Claxton - Jimmy Button said on Pulp Mx that Blake was trying to manage the championshio and Tomac and the other contenders had nothing to lose - makes sense when you watch the motos...that is why Charmichael, RV (and to a degree stewart in his 125 days) will never be comparable to this current crop of riders...they wanted to win every moto! good or bad (in stewarts case) there is something to be said about the guy that wants to stomp everyone into the dirt. I will bee impressed if Bagget comes out swinging in the last round and ends the debate about who is indeed faster ET or BB.
It will be interesting when everyone gets to Elsinore, they should all have the same advantage, none! Since this is the first National there, they will all be racing it for the first time. I am curious as to how the track conditions will be, a few weeks ago it was hot, dry, and the dust was like a picture from Oaklahoma in the 1930's.
@cz ..don't worry Elsinore will be perfect....for 1/2 a moto then it will turn into a deep rutted one maybe 2 lines in spots track like every single one has this year and for moto 2 will get a sprinkling of water to slick it up a bit....
Top 4 in both motos seals it even if ET wins both motos
Weather forecasted to 95 next weekend

@tonewall, I'll try not to lose to much sleep over it. I will admit for summer time other than the dust, the tracks aren't to bad. Ususally they are hard packed and blue grooved. I would see Jeff Ward out there in the past with his supermoto bike, he had the right idea for tire choice.
Bagget has them covered. He didnt want to take any risks on tracks that didnt favor him. He gave them some confidence but he has a small points cusion. He will sleep in his own bed and push the pace on a track in his own back yard.
Perhaps Barcia should give Herlings a call ....
Perhaps Barcia should give Herlings a call ....
BB12 made the sketchy passes and jumped shit even Eli didn't even touch earlier in the season. The little guy is bringing it home like a Champion. It's Eli and Barcia that have to pin it and stay off the ground.
