Man Barcia was off his game this weekend!!!! Lost 13 points, I really expected him to win. I am pulling for Baggett so I am glad but surprised.

RD again has a hard time making passes. He went down Hard in moto 2 also then had to stop for gas because his cap came off and he lost gas.

I can't believe Kawasaki still employs Jake Weimer, He has no business on a factory ride. Not strong outdoors. Decent Supercross rider but lacks mental toughness.

Did Dowd get his points?

Baggett put 13 pts on Barcia in JBs backyard so it looks like this west coast party is about to begin early. This is 5 straight weeks Blake has won at least one moto so no wonder he keeps increasing that points lead.

Dowd is a hero!!! I want to fly out there next year to watch. Southwick is my favorite track.

Check out Patterson Bubba, busted and still reacing. Why don't you just tell the truth, you don't like the hard work it takes to race the outdoors.

southwick is my least favorite track . it boring to watch and always seems to produce a fluke of some sort . plus sand gets sucks

I'm so excited to see the roadrace next week at Unadilla. I drove by there and saw the paving machine out on the track. This is the first year I'm not going, that track sucks now. No battling or bumps = boring races. The parking lot is rougher.

@crossedup. you got that right! i used to spend my vacation during am weekend racing. they charge you more money for the same track you we ride during district 3 events. now they are charging $50 just to camp on top of all the fees. the pro track is a shadow of it's former self. their days on the nationals are numbered since their big push AMA out of the GNCC series.

BillC it must be that track because RV couldn't pass RD there last year either. Oh well, going down Hard, making a pit stop, and still getting the overall I guess not making that last pass really didn't matter.

BillC wrote: 7:50am August 13, 2012

Ummmmmmmmmmm don't recall RV even being near RD last year to try and make a pass at Southwick.

Profile Picture
sherpa wrote: 8:09am August 13, 2012

Who was 2nd in the first moto? Who was on RD wheel late in first moto?

Profile Picture
BillC wrote: 11:10am August 13, 2012

Really?? I don't recall that. Either way I have NEVER seen RV stuck behind the #800 for as long as RD does. Even if RV did not make the pass on RD no shame in that RD is one of the greatet in the world, I don't get how RD can't pass guys who are no where near as fast as he is, Thats his BIG weak spot and it coasts him when the other fast guys are there. Look at Unilda last year, Barcia holeshot , RV passes RD then Barcia within 2 laps but RD could not pass Barcia for 30 min's wile RV builds a huge lead. Also this year RD talkes for ever to pass the 800 then puts 2 sec per lap on him. Thats my point.

Seems he knows how to overall pretty well. and not get hurt. He probably should just keep doing what he does.

@BILLC, I dont blame Dungey for not hurrying past Alessi now.. Why should he risk a crash, he is miles ahead in points.. But I do know what you are saying about the past races, but that is Dungey, but it seems to work for him.. After this season he will already be ahead of Stewart in wins and titles..

Profile Picture
BillC wrote: 1:37pm August 13, 2012

My thought is this, He is RIGHT on Alessi's butt if he goes down he takes RD with him. My thought is blow by and control the race from the front. Also now is the time to practic passing guys because when RV, CR and JS are back he will need to because we all know they will pass fast and RD will be behind 20 sec before he gets by the 800.

.BD200 what does your last line have to do with any of this? LOL

Profile Picture
bd200 wrote: 3:46pm August 13, 2012

My last line is showing what I said if you would take time and read.. Dungeys style of waiting for a safe place to pass WORKS for him. Look at his wins and titles. He has passed Stewie, who follows your philosiphy of "blowing passed him" and then crashing ..Dungey has already surpassed him in the win column, so you may not agree with his style, but he wins titles with it.. The pass as fast as you can no matter what is Stewies style.. And Dungey is ahead in the wins and titles already in his short 450 career.. Understand now??

Profile Picture
BillC wrote: 3:56pm August 13, 2012

easy bd200 just haveing a fun.

.RD will never have as many SX win's as JS I will bet ya.

Profile Picture
bd200 wrote: 4:47pm August 13, 2012

This isnt supercross, and wins mean NOTHING without the ring.. Its about titles Bill.

Took a look at Unadilla first moto and yes RD did pass RV when he crossrutted on the first lap and went off the track. Was passed by a few riders and did take awhile to get to third. However it took RV until almost half the race to cross jump in front of Barcia to take the lead could have been very bad for RV if JB didn't let off.Getting back to the trouble with passing at the wick last year DR passed 33 riders in moto 2 and RV got passed by a few and never made a pass. So on that day who knew how to pass? Alessi has the Chad Reed syndrome no factory ride no money if I don't perform, best he has ridden in a very long time.

Whoops RD got passed not pass RV sorry
