Looks a lot better than last year's SLC track. The start stretch took up 35% of the stadium and the track was never looped through it again. The lap times were in the low 40's which made the races super short. Hopefully we can see a new winner.
So if a rider holeshots and triples the first three sets out of the first turn, like the red arrow did, I would think that rider has a couple seconds lead right off the bat.
What's the weather forecast?
Maybe the track will be somewhat dry this year. No snow this week although it is intermittently raining today here in SLC.

that part where the arrow tripples onto the first table, I think the fast line there is actually to double the first little jumps, then triple over the table tops then triple one more time. That is, if the track crew leaves it that way...
