Thor's Villopoto Regains Points Lead

Also in the Supercross Class, Brett Metcalfe battled his way through the pack to earn a ninth-place finish, while Supercross class rookie Broc Tickle earned his second top-10 finish of the season in 10th place. Jake Weimer pushed his way up to 11th, after starting 16th.

After earning his heat race win, Thor’s Dean Wilson pressured for a podium position for much of the Supercross Lites race, eventually finishing fourth. Wilson currently sits second in the points standings, 22 points behind first.

The sixth round of the Monster Energy Supercross is this weekend at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif.
