Jean Ramos Overcomes Adversity at A2
Jean Ramos overcomes adversity and went to the Main Event Lites West in Anaheim 2
The Brazilian rider Jean Carlo Ramos showed, once again, that he has a lot of talent.
He earned last Saturday, February ,4, a spot in the West Lites Main Event, after making the first and second fastest time in the afternoon qualifying on Group B.
The 16th spot in Main Event was a great overcome to Jean, who suffered with some problems in his bike on the week and couldn't train, so he put his focus on the physical part. The rider also faced a lot of tension and pressure without knowing if the parts to replace what was broken in his bike would arrive in time for the 4th round of AMA SX on Saturday (4), in Anaheim 2.
" I couldn't ride my bike last week and was really apprehensive because I just be able to fix my bike on Friday (3) afternoon. That's why my result in Anaheim 2 was a great victory" reveals Jean.
Jean went to United States on December of 2011, determined and courageous because he was not fully prepared to participate for the first time of World Supercross. On the second round he gained qualification for the West Lites Main Event and finish in 18th. However, the current Brazilian motocross champion, in MX2, follows without a team to dispute national championship in his country. Jean Carlo Ramos defended the Honda Official Team between 2008 and 2011, but in 2012, no renewal of his contract with the team.
On February, 11, next Saturday, Jean Ramos faces the 6th round of AMA SX in San Diego, Calif. On February, 15 returns to Brazil to start his season of races in Brazil.
