What is the point all he does is get laped not with the time !
I agree he is a nice guy but not competive at all anymore.
hes just a has been that needs to retire and find another job in the industry all he does every year is takes a spot on good teams that should go to more deserving up and coming riders
Wow, sketchy, that didn't look like to much fun. How about those, what, 3 triples and two huge table tops? Lets keep motocross and supercross two different animals...
what's up with him casing everything? Isn't he on a 450....should have plenty of power to clear anything out there
Better a has been, than a never was. Which is what you all are. Turn a better lap, then make your comment. You probably shit your pants on a triple.
Track = gnarly. Wey = sick.
You haters and dissers would get lapped by Wey if he was on a bone stock 250 2 stroke with no front brake, had no goggles and had been up all night partying with J Law.
He's one of the 10 best racers in the WORLD is a super cool dude who acts like a pro and races clean.
I did expect him to do better at Red Bud but he's a solid top 10 in SX and MX.
BB
Ouch!
from what i can tell this was taking from the 2nd practice. trust me it was muddy half the haters pry couldnt have even made it up the hill let alone jump it. there was like 2 guys jumping shit the first practices. it was very bad. came together when the sun came out.
i was there all weekend and it down poured for 13 hours straight. not one of you guys would hit that uphill triple
Shhhhit talkers are laaame. That track looked nuts.
wholly shit; all kinds of respect to all the guys from me. that seemed like one heck of a deep rutted track to me. and the g outs on the faces of some of the jumps was insane.
He spends as much time coasting as I do on my 450. I remember RC's bike pinned except for a momentous silence at the turn itself. He let Reed beat him even after his bail off and 2 minute time out to recover. No I won't do those big jumps but I don't get paid too and buddy boy there is a big difference. So for all you dudes that was scared looking at the track I could for sure lap you. When you ride mud coasting is the worse thing you can do, I guess the GOAT proved that point the year he lapped everyone including Stewart.
You guys are funny. "What's the point, he gets lapped?" "Not even competitive" "Has been that needs toi retire". Most of you are complete idiots. He is one of the 40 fastest riders in America. When was the last time any of you trash talkers did anything any of us would have heard about and been impressed by? That's right, suck it.
Nick Wey is one of the nicest guys I have met at a track, and still fast. Shut it, posers.
Be nice, we are all riders here. Some of us retired racers, but I still love the sport. Respect the man for what he does.
You guys are nuts, he is still a talented racer. To even make top 20 means you are very skilled. I think what happens is that unless you're top 3 material you can easily get lost mid-pack. Everyone is so close and the 450 class is stacked with some of the fasted riders in the world. He has had some injuries, is obviously getting old.... I mean c'mon. But have some respect.
I appreciate the opportunity to show you at lap of the track thanks to GoPro. I don't appreciate the negativity. Their is a lot of issues I have been working through this season, things that would not be professional to talk about. I train as hard as anyone out there. I know I have the speed to run top 5. Otherwise I wouldn't line up. This weekend I hit my head in a first turn crash and couldn't finish. The second moto, clearly not even close to 100%, I went from 27th to 15th. Obviuosly not where I want to be, but I'm proud that I was able to tough it out. Thanks to all of the REAL Team 27 fans out there!
I don't know anyone else that they could put in place of Nick. Funny, all you
guys that love Stroupe................Where's he at? Probably partying with J-Law.
Nick's been a top 10 guy at Sx and he does pretty good in the Nationals too. At least he rides both and is a great spokesman for his team and Moto.
NYK, don't even listen to some of these fools, they spend more time drinking than you do riding. Any of these jerkoffs that think they can do better are free to line up at their local national and put their money where their mouth is. There is a reason why none of these idiots have rides and you have a ride for all of SX/MX plus outside sponsors like 10 years running. These homos couldn't even get Franklin Resouce sponsors haha, don't even respond or offer excuses, keep doin what you're doin, much love yo!!
Nyk, dude, you kick butt and for anyone to say you need to hang it up, I say that they are uneducated morons. Been a long time fan and always appreciate the way you carry yourself and represent your sponsors and our sport. Class act all the way.
Now to the douchebags.....an MX National is just that...A NATIONAL....what that means is if you are a pro, and you make it to the show on any given weekend, you are one of the 40 fastest riders in the nation....OUT OF THOUSANDS!!!!! For anyone to get even a top 20 is incredible. The slowest guy you see on TV getting lapped would most likely demolish any local pro in your area. That is how bad ass these guys are.
As an example....Anyone remember a guy named Lance Smail? He was a factory KTM guy for a long time and he would show up to our local races here in WA State and spank all of the other local pros by half a lap in a 6-8 lap race. Then he would go to nationals and get lapped by guys like Carmichael. For a guy like Nyk to be kicking out top tens in SX and MX for well over 10 years is incredible. I don't hear you guys bashing on Windham the same way. Wey is a badass.
There....stepping off of soap box now....
Damn....I wanna ride but Im too long and short legged. Ill stick to racing against my fellow badger hounds.
I cant believe people think you are a has been if your getting 20th and 30th. Are we forgetting that these are the best racers in the USA. If you qualify for an outdoor national - you are something . I read somewhere that motocross is the most physical demanding sport in history . Come on people - Have you ever made a main event?
