Bel-Ray Announces Elite Support Motocross Racers

Continuing with our history of supporting racers in competition, Bel-Ray lubricants is proud to announce our Elite motocross rider support racers for 2011. These racers epitomize the drive and determination that Bel-Ray has recognized over the years and we are proud to support them in their 2011 racing endeavors. The list of Bel-Ray supported motocross racers goes back to the beginning of the sport with names like DeCoster, Smith and Lackey to today’s premier athletes like Chad Reed and the Dodge/ Hart and Huntington race team.

The riders are:
Derek Anderson -Colorado- After a successful 2010 outdoor national series, Anderson returns to Bel-Ray support with an earned national #64. The Kawasaki rider is recovering from an injury and will return for selected outdoor nationals this season.
Jake Beaudoin -Massachusetts- The youngest member of the Bel-Ray team, Beaudoin will be a contender at the big amateur events all season long. The current 65cc class champion in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland, Jake’s smooth riding style makes him the top choice for a national championship this summer at Loretta Lynns.
Barry Carsten -New Jersey- The veteran of motocross, Carsten is a workhorse that has been racing professionally longer than many riders have been alive. Carsten is a contender for any Vet class race he enters as he travels around the Northeast with his family. His son, Corey is a promising mini racer and with Barry’s guidance, he’s sure to do well.
Chad Crawford -Missouri- Chad is one of the most promising intermediate riders in the Mid-West. His 3rd overall at Loretta Lynn’s this past summer in the 450 B Modified class is a sure sign of things to come from this young racer.
Nick Desiderio -New Jersey- The well-known, amateur racer is on Team Bel-Ray for another season. Nick is working with Ryan Hughes this winter to make sure that he is in tip-top riding condition as he makes his run at Amateur Championships in the “B” class.
Dakota Kessler -New Jersey- Following in the footsteps of his dad, professional racer and Bel-Ray backed Mickey Kessler; Dakota is starting to make waves in National motocross competition. Look for the #449’s aggressive riding style this summer at selected national events.
Frankie Lettieri -New Jersey- This is Lettieri’s first season racing Supercross, but his amateur career is well known. The longtime, former Suzuki support rider recently made the switch to Hondas. You can see Lettieri in the Lites class at the East Coast Supercross and Outdoor Motocross events this season.
Tony Lorusso -Connecticut- The winningest racer in New England motocross, LoRusso notched his 50th area championship this past season. Lorusso is a well-known figure in American motocross and is also the owner of CT motocross, his own racetrack in Connecticut.
Kevin Markwardt -Illinois- Kevin is a popular competitor on the AMA Arenacross tour. Returning for another season aboard the Tuf Racing/Venning Motorsports/UFO backed Honda; Markwardt will follow the Arenacross tour this winter and turn his attention to super cross and outdoor motocross once the Arenacross tour ends.
Ryan Orr -California- The former AMA national and motocross racer returns to Bel-Ray for 2011. Orr has competed in motocross, Supercross and the WORCS series, but is most well known for his work with Dirt Bike magazine. Orr can be seen in the pages of the popular magazine in his work as a test rider. Look for the Bel-Ray logo when reading the magazine.
Greg Pamart -Pennsylvania- “Frenchie” returns as a Bel-Ray backed racer. The popular Pennsylvania based racer is a certified Gary Semics instructor and helps train several promising amateur racers. Pamart is also a top-ranked “A” class racer, who is a certain top finisher in any event he enters.
Joey Peters -New Jersey- After a successful amateur career, Peters will make the move to “A” class racing and he should be an instant contender. Look for the Yamaha mounted Peters at the top of the “A” class at all of the big amateur races this season.
Steve Roman -Pennsylvania- Roman has been a consistent qualifier at East Coast Supercross and Outdoor Nationals rounds for the past several years as well as a top finisher at local motocross events near his Pennsylvania home.
Anthony Roth -New Jersey- Roth is a well-known racer in the Northeast, competing in the AMA Pro National and Amateur National circuits. He is also a top finisher at local events and one of the most well liked racers in the area.
Blake Savage -Utah- Blake is an up and coming, intermediate racer looking to make waves in the amateur scene this season. Injuring his knee last season prior to the Amateur Nationals, Blake wasn’t able to show how well he could do. With his surgery behind him, he is prepared for top finish at all of the big Amateur events this season.
Scott Sheak -New York- Making his return to motocross racing this season, the Vet class rider will be a favorite at Loretta Lynn’s this summer. The former Factory Honda racer and team manager, the well-liked Sheak, is a fan favorite and is a great addition to the 2011 Bel-Ray team.
Lowell Spangler -Pennsylvania- This Team Green amateur standout entered the national series for the first time at the end of 2010 and he returns this season with the drive and determination that served him well coming up through the ranks. Now on Hondas, look for #529 at selected outdoor motocross national events this season.
Ronnie Stewart -Pennsylvania- Stewart makes his Supercross debut this season after missing last year’s Supercross season with a knee injury. After recovering from his injury, Stewart raced several outdoor nationals and showed great results that he will improve on this season. Look for the #606 in the East Coast lites class at Supercross this season and at selected outdoor Nationals this summer.
Tyler Wozney -Delaware- As one of the only AMA Pro Racers hailing from Delaware, Tyler will be competing at selected National motocross rounds this season as well as local events around the Northeast. He is often seen on MXPTV.com, the popular motocross video website that is run by his brother.
