by Andy Cunningham
The new and improved Australian Supercross series spearheaded by Chad Reed kicks off this weekend in Perth. Trainer Andy Cunningham has been around all the top Aussie riders for years and offers his insight as to which riders will show up ready for battle and who will be sent home early. The event kicks off a whirlwind tour for Reed, who will jet to Perth in Western Australia from California where he has been shaking down his new Suzuki. From there he will return to the U.S., touching down in Vegas for the Rockstar Energy U.S. Open, making his debut appearance stateside with the Makita Suzuki team. With the ink still drying on his passport, he will then head back to South Australia for the second round of the Supercross tour at the Adelaide Showground. Chad is the odds-on favorite in the Supercross class but find out who Andy believes could steel the show if distractions get the best of Reed. The Supercross Lites class is loaded with fast talent as Andy gives his predictions on who will win and possibly be the next Superstar to come from the land down under.
