Reed, Wey & Hepler Highlight Unbound Energy Drink’s SX Stable
Lewis, Ferry, Lansoo and Summey of Moto XXX will also rock Unbound Energy logo at Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series
CARLSBAD, Calif., (Jan. 4, 2006) – With the Anaheim opener of the Amp’d
Mobile AMA Supercross Series just a few short days away, Unbound Energy
Drink’s stable of riders will no doubt have a serious impact on
Saturday’s results board.
“I’ve got a feeling you’re going to be seeing the Unbound Energy logo
hanging around the podium a lot during Supercross this year,” said
Unbound Energy’s Jon Bratta. “And equally as important, you’ll see
these great athletes that we’re backing utilizing the positive,
energizing effects of Unbound Energy Drink in a setting synonymous with
what we had in mind when we first created Unbound Energy. Supercross is
the pinnacle of action sports and what we feel is the optimal test
grounds for our Unbound Energy product.”
Starting with Team Yamaha’s Chad Reed, Unbound Energy will have a
podium favorite in each and every round. With several weeks to heal and
train, Reed’s certainly one of the favorites challenge for the AMA SX
title – especially considering the way he soldiered up to the podium in
the Amp’d Mobile World SX GP rounds in Canada and scored bronze at both
Toronto and Vancouver. There’s no doubt a healthy Reed – the 2004 AMA
Supercross champion - will be there to challenge for the overall AMA
Supercross title come May.
For the second-straight year rocking the Unbound Energy logo will be
Nick Wey of the MDK/MotoSport.com/MSR Honda racing team. Always a
threat to crack the top five, the smooth-riding Wey is considered to be
the top non-factory backed racer on the circuit. With a slew of Loretta
Lynn’s Amateur Championship titles under his belt and consistent
finishes through out his nine-year pro career, Unbound Energy’s Wey is
definitely a fan favorite and one to keep an eye on through out the
entire Supercross season.
Aboard the yellow Suzuki bike and teamed with Unbound Energy again this
year will be Pennsylvania’s Broc Hepler. The 2004 runner-up in the
Eastern Region AMA Lites class, Hepler enters the ’06 season as one of
the favorites to win the hotly-contested Lites class. He’s also
carrying some momentum from the AMA Outdoor National Motocross season
where he won his hometown race at Steel City (Delmont, Pa.) this past
September.
Unbound Energy doesn’t stop with the love for the individual racers as
this year the popular energy drink will sponsor the entire Moto XXX
team! 2005 AMA Rookie of the Year Juss Laansoo headlines a team
that features the return of Tim “Red Dog” Ferry, holeshot artist
veteran Kyle Lewis and the hyper fast Josh Summey.
Unbound Energy is available in 16 oz. cans at BP and am/pm retail
locations, with more locations and a Sugar-Free Unbound coming soon!
