Tracks are homes away from home and the object of many memories. The memories can be of races experienced first-hand, either raced or observed, or through pictures in the magazines over the years. The little blurb on Honda Hills reopening in the July ’23 issue made me think you could do a full article each month on specific tracks around the country, whether national or local. Personally, they would bring back memories for those that raced there, as Honda Hills did for me with mid-pack battles in the C class, but additionally finding the most epic battles when the tracks were used for Nationals, Trans-AMAs, etc. (as Honda Hills was used for). Who were the fast shoes over the years that just made that track theirs? Who were the owners over the years? If they are still open, how have they changed? Food for thought.

(Thanks Phil, we try to include as many different tracks and personalities as we can, as you will see in this issue’s look at Castillo Ranch in California’s wine country. We don’t know all of the history of all of the places we cover, but we will do our best to learn more and share it here! DC)
