J ust do me one favor, everyone: stop using the word everyone. Also, stop using the words always and never. Just take the edge off a little bit. It’s the only way to remain sane in this world where everyone has an opinion and gets to voice it. All opinions exist today: reasonable ones, dumb ones, crazy ones, anything in between. Whatever opinion you do or don’t want to hear, you can find it. This is actually okay if you realize there’s simply a wide variety of takes, but if you start believing any of those opinions are all of the opinions, you’re in trouble. So, stop saying “everyone.” Otherwise, you can really believe there are haters everywhere, everyone doubts you and everyone is against you. But is it really everyone or just…someone? There’s a big difference.
