Every year at Loretta Lynn’s it seems like I am asked the same question about the participation of ex-pro riders in the vet classes. And my response would be the same for all 42 years: Because they aren’t professional racers anymore. It’s an endless argument that will continue as long we are fortunate enough to have the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.
