As the 2024 FIM World Motocross Championship was getting ready to start in Argentina earlier this month, we noticed a strange statistical coincidence in the motocross record books: Jeffrey Herlings has 103 career MXGP wins, Ricky Carmichael retired with 102 AMA Pro Motocross wins, and Stefan Everts totaled 101 MXGP wins during his career. With that in mind, I penned a featured about these “Three Kings” of global motocross that you will find in this issue, beginning on page 60. One could make the case for each of these three as the all-time best outdoor motocross racer to ever compete.
