In racing, we know one must get many hours of practice, but especially with supercross and motocross. In order to practice, you need a facility when you are young to get a head start. So why does it seem, with all the warm-weather states we have, so many good professional riders are coming from a colder climate? Is taking time off in the winter necessary for longevity?
