Last Stop
As he heads into what is likely his last season as a full-time competitor, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Eli Tomac’s place in the record books is already secure. He’s won two AMA Supercross Championships and five AMA Pro Motocross crowns. He’s won 52 450SX main events, second only to Jeremy McGrath. The 32-year-old from Cortez, Colorado, will someday be a first-ballot AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer. “To be honest, I didn’t see myself doing it past 30 years old,” he recently told us. “You’ve got to do what you love doing. I’ve always told myself that if I’m competitive, then I was going to keep going. Overall, it has been a fantastic journey.”
