"DOING IT FOR DALE!"

Exactly two years after a devastating crash at the Daytona Supercross derailed his 450 transition, Monster Energy/Star Yamaha Racing’s Aaron Plessinger (7) finally got back up to the speed he showed as a 250 champion, finishing third at this year’s Daytona race. Plessinger, who is having a solid season, was thrilled to be back on the box. He also took a moment during his interview on NBC Sports to tell any stock car fans who may have tuned in that he was “doing it for Dale,” a reference to the late, great Dale Earnhardt.
