I’m a long-time follower of Racer X and all sorts of motocross racing: AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross, Aus MX and SX, MXGP, the MXoN, WSX, SMX, King of Paris, you name it! Started racing at five years of age, finished at 22. Now that I’m 32, I ride for the passion, and also getting my two sons involved. Anyway, I’m from Australia. The sport here is quite well known, but I feel like not as big as everywhere else. How can we go about getting an article write-up to see if there are thoughts of a MXoN or two rounds of World Supercross coming to Australia? Preferably in QLD where the air and atmosphere is perfect. And MX tracks can naturally have sand, red soil, black soil, etc., all in one. Thought it might be a good media idea to get some people’s thoughts to try and bring some more attention to this part of the world where the riding is fantastic and we could see some of the big talent more often.

(Thanks for the note and the follow, Jakson, definitely seems like a great time to be a fan from Australia if you’re watching the AMA circuits, as Jett and Hunter have won five titles between them in 2023 alone! And that second-place finish at the MXoN in France is Australia’s best-ever finish. As far as WSX goes, it’s based in Australia and has at least one round scheduled for Melbourne in late November. The MXoN is very expensive for teams to participate, and holding the event in Australia would make it even more expensive, but it would definitely be cool to have it there while the Lawrence brothers are still in peak form. The MXoN was held there in Manjimup back in 1992, and it seemed like a success, so keep your fingers crossed. DC)
